Travel Trailer Owners Forumbumper-pull owners, no salesmen

About this forum

Travel Trailer Owners Forum opened in September 2025 for people who pull a bumper-pull travel trailer behind a pickup or an SUV. Families with kids in the bunks, couples who go out on weekends, and a few retired members who follow the weather south. The big RV boards are good, but a question about a 26 foot Jayco gets buried under diesel pusher threads within an hour. Here it does not.

It is run by Kelly J., who goes by mod_kelly_j on the boards. She spent eleven years doing warranty paperwork and service writing at an RV dealership near Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and has pulled a 2016 Keystone Passport 2670BH around the upper Midwest since before that. She reads the contact address herself, usually within a couple of days, slower during the state park reservation windows.

Minnesota state park reservations

A member asked for this in the welcome thread. Minnesota state park campsites open for reservation 120 days ahead of the arrival date, and the electric sites at the popular parks go within the first hour. Reservations run through the state DNR site. Once there is enough to argue about it will get its own thread.

What this forum is not

Not a dealer, not an auction, not a hitch shop, and not the owner's manual. When someone here gives you a torque number or a tow rating, check it against the sticker on your door and the manual for your year before you rely on it.
