2019 Rockwood 2608BS, bought new, spends may through october parked at our lot on Lake Ida and comes home to Alexandria for the winter. so it sits in the sun a lot and it does not move much. got up on the roof saturday for the first time since spring and the self leveling sealant along the rear cap seam has hairline cracks, and the bead around the bathroom vent has pulled away on one side about an inch. nothing wet inside yet.
the slide seals are a separate problem. the wiper seals on the big slide have gone stiff and the top one folds under instead of wiping when i bring the slide in. i have been spraying them with silicone spray which i now read is wrong.
so, three questions. what sealant do you put over what is there, or do you scrape it. what do you put on the rubber seals. and honestly how often do you go up on the roof, because the dealer says twice a year and i am clearly not doing that.
